No Meat May runs global challenge events where we share practical tools and build empowering and supportive communities to sustain long-term behaviour change. We bring people together to discover incredible plant-based food from all corners of the world.
Feedback from participants in the No Meat May Challenge is overwhelmingly positive with 98% reporting a positive or “life-changing experience”. And with more than 90% of people reducing or eliminating their meat consumption after taking part, the positive impact extends well beyond May.
We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Intern to join our growing team. The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of the digital media landscape, including various social media sites.
You will be responsible for:
working with our Social Media Manager & Founder to create engaging blog and social media content
developing content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis in line with our Social Media Strategy
monitoring analytics and advising on content to boost to increase campaign awareness & engagement
assisting with moderation of our social media channels
providing support to our team for online events during May.
There is also the opportunity to contribute to our website redesign project, and optimising our website.

strong communication skills
In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
an understanding of the evidence and need for a global shift to more plant-based eating.
