Feedback from participants in the No Meat May Challenge is overwhelmingly positive with 98% reporting a positive or “life-changing experience”. And with more than 90% of people reducing or eliminating their meat consumption after taking part, the positive impact extends well beyond May.

We are looking for a dynamic Copywriter Intern to join our growing team. The ideal applicant will possess excellent writing skills and will assist us in creating quality compelling copy.


You will be responsible for:

  • Working with our Senior Copywriter and Founder to write, proofread, and edit engaging copy

  • Assist with creating, updating and editing email communications for participant journeys

  • Ensuring brand consistency in all copy by following existing writing guidelines

  • Conducting research on assigned topics, target audiences, and the platforms the content will be published on

  • There is also the opportunity to contribute to our website redesign project, and optimising our website.

Your experienced mentor will introduce you to standard copywriter conventions and assist you with following our content templates and writing guidelines.


Those looking to gain valuable experience writing copy to inspire behaviour-change & motivate participant fundraising within a dynamic purpose-driven organisation are encouraged to apply.


Applicants must:

  • have excellent communication skills

  • be studying for a bachelor’s degree or be a newly graduated student

  • possess previous writing experience

  • be open to learning about new technologies, writing styles, and copywriting methods
